And here is the story about this special version:

I've written this love song in 2023 and instantly decided to put it on my new album. When I knew, that I'd have strings on the album, I wrote the violin and cello section played by the wonderful musicians Caroline Stevenson (violin) and Roman Richter (cello). I had no plans to feature someone else on this song, so that was it.

In the summer 2025 Stella and I performed at a wedding of two friends of mine who asked us to perform 'Half of a Whole' as a duet, so we arranged Stella's harmonies. I instantly fell in love with it and asked Stella to come to the studio to record her vocals for this special version. And here it is. :)

Stella is a long and dear friend of mine. I've done a lot of different music projects with her and I've featured her on songs in the past ('Never Ending Holiday') She's also part of my new band.

The original version is on my album 'A Traveller's Story' which was released October 3rd 2025.
